UPDATE: At the moment there has been significant interest from users willing to contribute feeds to slashgeo. So drop alex a line if you are interested in helping out slashgeo as an editor.

A sad bit of news that Alex from slashgeo.org has decided to put an indefinit end to the project. It’s a real shame since its the only geo-news site that isn’t crammed with pointless commercial news and annoying ads from you-know-who. The news on slashgeo actually qualified as being cool and geeky. I am waiting to see, perhaps someone with more courage than me can help pick up the project. Link to the post from Alex.
