finally some time to try out the wps. Downloaded the client tar ball from here. Then had to modify the start up file for linux — it comes as a dos batch file — quite easy change to bash.
Ran the client and there it was the shiny new menu “WPS Client” Added the 52n’s service url and was connected.
then I invoke the buffer function on the tissot shapefile. Which froze the screen for a bit but came back with impressive results
